A MOTHER’S LETTER

My dear children, I need to tell you that I love you. And I want you to know how complex and intricate and meaningful those words are when they come out of me.
You, my child, are suppose to take that love for granted, you should know that I love you just as well as you know your own name.
My love is much more than admiration.
My love is more than pride for who you’ll become.
My love is steadfast hope that never fades.
My love holds your hand. Holding you up, holding you close to my heart.
My love for you is always there.
I hope my love has helped your heart to become strong, yet vulnerable and open.
I hope all your efforts are brave, but careful.
I hope your heart is generous.
My love for you should be a reminder of how much I believe in you and for who you are.
My love for you won’t erase your mistakes.
But I will be there to hold the eraser.
My love for you wants only what is best for you.
My love for you has no barriers or spaces.
My love for you ascends time and space.
My love for you ascends all that I am.
My love for you.
